Cupid’s Undie Run is a fundraiser held annually consisting of a 1-ish mile run wearing your Valentine’s Night best. The run in Detroit went past Comerica park, along the streets circling Ford Field and back. The money raised is for The Children’s Tumor Foundation which funds research and supports the patients and families suffering from Neurofibromatosis. Neurofibromatosis encompasses a set of distinct genetic disorders that cause tumors to grow along various types of nerves and, in addition, can affect the development of non-nervous tissues such as bones and skin. Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body.
This year, the Detroit group with Cupid’s Undie Run raised $83,504. Click to see all the craziness unfold!
